Anselme M. Kananga, RN

Mr. Anselme Mubeneshayi Kananga is the founder of the Palliafamilli network and the president of the non-profit organization International Youth Association for Development (IYAD). He works as a nurse practitioner at the Clinique St-Jean in Brussels, specifically in the palliative care unit, and as a consultant for the Palliafamilli network (www.palliafamilli.com) in the Democratic Republic of Congo. A pioneer in integrating palliative care and end-of-life care into healthcare services in the DRC, Mr. Mubeneshayi has trained more than 2,500 health professionals and community health workers through his program from 2017 to 2022. He is also an active member of several networks, including the International Francophone Federation of Palliative Care (FISP), the Health Care and Spirituality Network (RESSPIR), the Francophone Network of Pediatric Palliative Care, and the African Palliative Care Association (APCA).
