Learning Grounded in Practice

At Butaro Level Two Teaching Hospital; Butaro Cancer Centre of Excellence, healthcare providers came together for a Palliative Care training informed by the realities of everyday practice.

The session focused on pain management, chemosafe practices, and working as a multidisciplinary team, bringing safety, collaboration, and human-centered care into palliative care delivery.

What stood out was a shared commitment to care better, work together, and remain close to patients and families throughout their journey.
